Outlook 2003 is a popular email client which is developed and marketed by Microsoft Corporation along with Microsoft Office 2003 Suite. Apart from emails, Outlook 2003 facilitates you to manage your contacts, calendar events, meeting schedules, tasks, appointments, etc. It is like a personal digital dairy where you can store and manage all your day-to-day activities information. Outlook uses a database file with an extension of .pst to store all the emails along with other attributes. Outlook 2003 is more popular compared to previous versions because of its PST file size, which is upgraded to 20GB and few other additional features. You can install and access Outlook 2003 on Windows XP, Vista, Win 7, Windows Server 2003 and 2008. The only disadvantage with Outlook 2003 is like previous versions, 2003 also uses PST file to store all the user data, which is prone to corruption.
Sometimes your emails stored in Outlook profile get deleted. This might happen due to accidental deletion of mails from Outlook 2003 and clearing Delete Items folder or Outlook PST file corruption. Step 1: Download and install the Demo Version of software and launch it using Desktop Icon or from Start Menu. Welcome window appears as shown in fig 1

Step 2: Since we have to fix the corrupted PST file, select "Open PST File" if you know the location, else select "Find PST File". If you select Open PST File, then click on "Browse" button to select your PST file. If you select Find PST File option, then select the logical drive from which you want to locate the PST file and click on "Find" button. After selecting PST file a window appears with two scanning options as shown in fig 2

Step 3: You can select either "Normal Scan" or "Smart Scan". Once you selected the scanning option click on "Repair" button. Software scans the selected PST file and displays the list of fixed items in Outlook Styled browser view as shown in fig 3

Step 4: Now you can preview the recovered items. If you are satisfied with the recovery process then activate the software and restore your files
